Sending for signature
Signing order and parallel signing
In order means signer two is not emailed until signer one is done. In parallel means everyone gets it at the same time and the document completes when the last one signs.
- Use order when a later signer needs to see what an earlier one filled in - a counter-signature, an approval, a guarantor.
- Use parallel when the signers are peers and nothing depends on sequence. It is almost always faster.
You can change the order while a document is still a draft. Once it is out, cancel it and send a fresh one rather than reshuffling under the signers.
